The bar tenders where on top of our drinks making sure as soon as one got close to empty we had another full one. We went on Friday for the fish fry and it was absolutely fantastic! I had the perch and my wife had the walleye and we will definitely be back to have the fish fry again! The old grog was awesome and the staff was very friendly!

Best chicken you’ll ever have on a Sunday here at this fine establishment. Staff is always friendly. It may seem like just bar food but it really is something special. Prices really can’t be beat. Can’t recommend checking this place out enough

Knowing it is a historic place, it's got a LOT of history on the walls & ceilings. The food is fantastic comfort food. Most of our 5 person party had the various fish offered on FRI's, I had grilled Chicken Cordon Blue with coleslaw. Another enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger & fries. We all shared Deep Fried Pickle appetizer's. My chicken was moist, tender & delicious ... the ham was sweet & salty ... the swiss cheese is creamy and a bit tart ... it comes with a mustard spread for you to add how much you want. The pickles have just enough dough to fry up crispy but not overpower. Our server Olivia was efficient, personable & attentive, but not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our night out together.
